A Real Home Theater - Matched to Your Room, Installed and Ready - Starting from $129/Month
Just Home Theater leases complete projector-and-screen systems in the DFW area. We come to your room, match the setup to your space, handle the installation, and keep the monthly plan completely straightforward. No AV knowledge required.
Just Home Theater is a home theater leasing company. We put together a complete
projector, screen, and sound system - matched to your room - install it in your
home, and support it throughout your plan. You pay a flat monthly rate. We
handle everything else.
This is not Rent-A-Center. There are no surprise charges, no fuzzy math, and no
markup tricks. The monthly price you see is the monthly price you pay. Total cost
is transparent before anything is scheduled.
At the end of your contract, you have options: continue on a new plan, upgrade to
a larger or newer system, or buy out the equipment at a fair price based on your
tier and how long you have been with us. The system does not automatically become
yours at the end of a contract - but monthly payments also are not slowly eating
toward a price you never agreed to. It is a lease. That is the honest way to
describe it.
If you want to own the equipment outright from day one, buying may be the better
path - and we will tell you so honestly if it is.
Built for people who want a theater that just works.
Most people who reach out to us want the same thing: a room that finally feels
like a real home theater - big screen, real sound, the kind of setup where movie
night actually feels like an event. They have thought about it for a while. They
have priced out projectors and screens online. They got overwhelmed, or got
burned by something cheap, or looked at a custom install quote and felt their
stomach drop.
If any of that sounds familiar, keep reading.
This is a good fit if:
You want a real projector-and-screen setup, not just a bigger TV.
You have thought about this for a while. You want something that fills a
wall, not something that just sits on one. A soundbar upgrade is not what you
are after.
You have a room with potential - and you want it to actually become that room.
Basement, living room, media room, spare bedroom: you do not need a perfectly
dark, sealed cave. You just need a real dedicated space we can work with. We
will tell you what it can do after we see it.
You would rather pay a predictable monthly amount than drop thousands upfront.
You have looked at what it costs to do this right. You know cheap setups
disappoint. This is the lower-friction path - you get the experience first,
and you know the full cost before we schedule anything.
You want it installed cleanly.
No exposed wires, no DIY Saturday, no calling a contractor. Our team does the
install. When we leave, the room is ready. You do not touch a cable.
This is probably not for you if:
You need it for one event and you are done.
The 3-month plan exists, but it is deliberately priced to reflect the real
short-term cost of a professional installation. We are not a party-rental
service, and the pricing reflects that.
You want to own the equipment outright from day one.
This is a lease. Monthly payments cover use, installation, support, and the
flexibility to upgrade or exit. If ownership from the start is what you want,
buying outright may be the right call - and we will tell you that honestly.
You are a hardcore AV enthusiast who wants to hand-pick every component.
We build curated, room-matched systems. If you want to swap receivers, run
room correction software, and spend the weekend tweaking crossover settings,
this probably is not your thing - and that is fine.
How a room visit works
We do not recommend a system until we have seen your room. Here is what the
process looks like from the form to the finished install.
1
Fill out the short form
Tell us about your room - what kind of space it is, how you plan to use it, what the lighting looks like, and what monthly range feels realistic. Takes about two minutes. No payment information, no commitment.
2
We call or text you
A real person from our team will reach out within one business day. We will answer questions and, if your room sounds like a good fit, schedule a time to come see it.
3
We visit your room
We come to your home and look at the actual space. We check throw distance, ceiling height, ambient light, wall conditions, and anything else that affects how the system will perform and how clean the install will look. We confirm the right system match and give you the exact plan and monthly price.
4
After the visit
If you want to move forward, we schedule your installation. If you are not ready, there is no pressure - you are under no obligation after the visit. The first payment happens when your install is scheduled.
Choose the room you want. We'll match the system to it.
Every system includes a projector, a fixed screen matched to your room's
lighting, surge protection, and all mounting hardware. Sound is a separate
module you can add from the start or include later. The exact system within each
tier is confirmed at the room visit - what you see below is the tier, the price
range, and what each level is designed to do.
12-month plan pricing shown.6-month plans are available as a flexible entry option and are priced higher per month.

We match the screen to the room
The screen matters as much as the projector. A standard matte white screen in a
bright room will wash out. An ambient-light-rejecting screen in the wrong
environment is overkill. We match the screen type to your room's actual lighting
conditions at the visit - not before. This is one of the main reasons the room
visit exists.
Sound options
Sound is a separate add-on. You can start with a display system and use your
existing audio setup, or add one of the options below from day one.
All sound systems are wireless - no speaker wire runs, no ceiling speaker
installs, no complex calibration. They connect through your display system and
are ready to use after installation.
Standard Wireless Surround - Samsung Q990F
The Samsung Q990F is a 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos system with wireless rear speakers and a wireless subwoofer.
True surround sound without running a single wire. Works well in most room sizes and layouts.
Good fit for:Most rooms, most use cases - movies, sports, gaming, and family nights.Add to any plan: +$79/month (12-month plan).
Performance Wireless Surround - Nakamichi Dragon
The Nakamichi Dragon is a step above, with more output, deeper bass, and a wider, more enveloping soundstage.
Built for larger rooms or for buyers who want audio to match the visual impact of the screen.
Good fit for:Larger rooms, dedicated theater setups, and buyers for whom audio quality is as important as picture quality.Add to any plan: +$159/month (12-month plan).
Custom Speaker Upgrade
If you want in-wall, in-ceiling, or dedicated speaker runs as part of the system, we can build that in.
Scope and pricing are confirmed at the room visit after we have seen the space and understood what you are looking for.
Good fit for:Customers who want a more involved speaker setup matched to the room.Custom speaker configurations are quoted individually based on room and hardware.

Planning estimates only

Serving DFW rooms first.
Just Home Theater is a local operation. We handle our own installations - we do not subcontract. That means we have a limited number of rooms we can take on at any given time, and we prioritize doing each one right over scaling fast. We are starting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and expanding outward from there. If you are in DFW, you are almost certainly in our range. If you are outside DFW, submit the form anyway - we will let you know if we cover your area or give you an honest timeline for when we expect to reach you.
DFW homeowners and long-term renters with a room they want to turn into a theater
Rooms with a clear wall and enough distance for a 10-14 foot projector throw

Buyers who want a professionally installed system, not a weekend DIY project
Pre-launch questions
Is this a rent-to-own situation?
No. This is closer to leasing a car than renting furniture from a rent-to-own store. You are paying for access to a professionally matched, installed, and supported home theater system - not working toward forced ownership of equipment that has been marked up to triple retail. Monthly payments cover the system, the installation, support, and the flexibility to upgrade or exit. Total cost is transparent from the start. You will see exactly what you pay per month, what the term length is, and what your options are before anything is scheduled.
Do I own the system at the end of the contract?
Not automatically. At the end of your contract, we will present your options: continue on a new plan, upgrade to a newer or larger system, or buy out the equipment at a fair price based on your tier and how long you have been a customer. We do not lock you into a lease forever. We also will not tell you that your monthly payments are slowly building toward ownership at a price you never agreed to. The monthly payment is for use, support, and access - and we will say so clearly before you sign anything.
What does the installation actually include?
We bring the projector, screen, all mounting hardware, surge protection, and cabling. We mount the screen on the wall, position and mount the projector, route and manage all cabling cleanly, calibrate the picture for your room's specific lighting, and make sure your streaming devices and gaming consoles connect and work before we leave. When we walk out the door, the room is ready to use. You do not touch a cable. The exact scope of the installation is confirmed at your room visit, based on what we see.
What if something breaks?
If the equipment stops working under normal use, we handle it. Call or text us and we get it sorted - not the manufacturer, not a third-party warranty line. Support is included in your monthly plan. Accidental damage and unusual situations are covered under a separate damage policy. We will go through the specifics at the room visit so you know exactly where you stand before you commit.
What if I want to cancel or I need to move?
All contracts have a minimum term. If you need to exit early, there is a defined process - we explain it clearly at the room visit before you sign anything, so there are no surprises. If you move within our service area, we can discuss reinstallation. If you move outside our area, we will work through the options with you at that point. We do not want to trap anyone. We also cannot absorb unlimited removal and reinstall costs - so the terms exist, and we will be upfront about every one of them.
What does the room visit cost?
Nothing. The room visit is completely free. We come to your home, look at the space, confirm the right system match, and give you the exact plan and price. There is no obligation after the visit and no deposit before it.
Can my spouse or partner be part of the visit?
Yes - and we would encourage it. The room visit is the right time for both of you to see exactly what the system will look like, where it will go, how it will be cabled, and what the monthly commitment is. If the other person in the household has questions about aesthetics, cost, or how it will work with the existing room, the visit is the best place to answer all of them.
